Ardevol Anjoli is a wonderful introduction to the prestigious Priorat region of Spain. Celler Ardevol was founded by Alber and Roser in 1995 near the town of Porrera, in Priorat. Anjoli is the name of the adopted daughter of Rose Galceran, one of the partners of Celler Ardevol. Wine Spectator rated this wine 89 points!

Ardevol Anjoli is light ruby red in color with a nose of fresh berries, licorice and tobacco. It is soft on the palate with medium-full-body and fine, well integrated tannins, offering rich flavors of plum and blackberries. Anjoli is a blend of 40% Garnacha, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Syrah and 10% Merlot. The wine was fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks before aging for 16 months in French oak barrels. It is well balanced with a long, lingering finish.
