Domaine Sainte Lucie is located in the commune of Puyloubier at the foot of the Sainte Victoire mountain. It was founded in 1978 by Michel Fabre and covers 40 hectares of vineyards averaging 35 years of age. This rose is a rich blend made predominantly of Grenache and Syrah with Cabernet Sauvignon, Mourvedre, Carignan, Cinsault and Rolle. The latest vintage was just recommended in the New York Times wine column!
Domaine Sainte Lucie Made in Provence rose is a deep strawberry-red in color with an aromatic nose of grapefruit, lemon, pear, green apple, blackberry and cassis. It is delightfully crisp and intense on the palate with medium body and flavors of red berries and citrus. No oak. The finish is long, flavorful and refreshing.
