Marimar Estate Pinot Noir Don Miguel Vineyard is estate grown and bottled from this organic vineyard in Sonoma. Named in honor of the late patriarch of the family, Don Miguel Vineyard is unique in California because it is totally European in style. A member of the esteemed Torres wine family, Marimar came to California from Spain in 1975 and began planting her vineyards in 1986. The estate now owns 60 acres of prime vineyards planted equally to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. At a recent trade tasting, this Pinot stood up and declared itself a bonafide wine gem!

Marimar Estate Pinot Noir Don Miguel Vineyard is soft garnet red in color with aromas of black cherry, wild berries, vanilla and spice. A red with long aging potential, this Pinot has medium body, velvety tannins and a palate that is intense, round and silky. The wine was aged in premium French oak, 40% new, then bottled unfined and unfiltered. It is beautifully balanced with length and complexity on the finish.
