2007 Nora Albarino

Product Description
Rias Baixas, Spain
The new 2007 vintage of Vina Nora Albarino was recommended in the Wall Street Journal wine column August 13, 2008!
Nora Albarino is a delightful white wine that is the perfect accompaniment to seafood. This wine was born on the banks of the Mino, the great river of Galicia, where the vineyards are surrounded by pine and eucalyptus forests and the ruins of ancient Celtic fortresses. We find Albarino is Spain's answer to the Viognier grape of Condrieu fame.
Nora Albarino is amber in color with an aromatic nose of honeysuckle, peach, apple, and mineral notes. Medium in body with crisp acidity, it is a dry wine with a perceived sweetness of fruit. It offers flavors of peaches, apricots, lemon, honeysuckle and apples, with no oak. It is beautifully balanced to enjoy in its youth, over the next 3-4 years. With excellent balance and a rich, silky texture, this wine coats the palate on the finish with long-lasting flavors.
Enjoy Nora Albarino with poached salmon, grilled chicken, shellfish and spicy Asian dishes.
