Provenance Sauvignon Blanc is a beautiful white wine gem from California’s Napa Valley. The wine received a 91-point rating from Wine Spectator and was honored among the magazine’s Top 100 Wines of 2009, ranked #56! Winemaker and general manager Tom Rinaldi previously attracted critical acclaim as the founding winemaker of Duckhorn Wine Company, where he made 22 vintages. The winery’s focus is on Cabernet Sauvignon. Its only white wine, Rutherford Sauvignon Blanc, made its debut with the 2003 vintage. Catch a rising star!

Provenance Sauvignon Blanc is 87% Sauvignon Blanc and 13% Semillon. The wine offers vibrant aromas of lemon-lime, papaya and floral notes. Hints of lemongrass, gooseberry and minerals add complexity. Lychee, melon and ginger spice add to the array of flavors. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, this wine combines bright acidity with a creamy texture. One-third of the juice was cold fermented in stainless steel and oak barrels, then stirred for 5 months of aging for enriched texture. Lemon custard nuances mingle in the long, fruit-intense finish.
