Based just north of Adelaide in South Australia, Red Dust is an Aussie/American venture managed by winemaker Hugh Matthews, former president of both BRL Hardy and Lindemann Estates. His American partner is Bob Shack, importer and wine industry veteran. With access to some of the best grapes in the region, skillful winemaking makes Red Dust Shiraz an awesome value in a big Aussie red.

Red Dust Shiraz is a blend of 95% Shiraz and 5% Merlot. The wine is deep ruby-purple in color with a rich aroma of blackberries, plums and a hint of pepper. Full in body with typical Aussie ripeness of fruit, the wine offers dark berry flavors complemented by just the right touch of oak. Well balanced to enjoy now and over the next 4-5 years, the wine lingers beautifully on the finish.
