In the winery's very short history, Two Hands has garnered praise from all corners of the wine world. In 2004, Robert Parker described Two Hands as "the finest negociant operation south of the equator." Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz has consistently received stellar ratings of 93 to 95 points, and its stock still seems to be rising! Two Hands Bella's Garden Shiraz is a red wine lover's dream--the kind of wine that leaves an enophile deeply saddened once the bottle is emptied! The wine is 100% Shiraz, dark red-purple in color with a powerful nose of ripe plums, succulent blackberries and a hint of cedar spice. It shows remarkable depth and power yet still maintains an elegant purity of fruit. The palate offers rich flavors of plum, mulberry, cassis, vanilla, pepper and spice. Tannins are silky and finely woven; balance is impeccable. The wine was aged for 16 months in French oak hogsheads, 15% new. It was minimally fined and non-filtered. On the finish it shows great length and richness of flavor.
