Twenty Rows Cabernet Sauvignon is an astounding value among Napa Valley Cabs and a true red wine gem. A blend of 95% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Merlot, the Cabernet grapes come from two vineyard sources in Napa--Howell Mountain and the Yountville Foothills. The Merlot comes from Oak Knoll. Winemaker Brian Nuss emphasizes tannin management as an important factor in producing powerful, yet elegant wines. Twenty Rows Cab was chosen #1 Wine in October 2006 by Food & Wine magazine! Only 9000 cases of the 2007 vintage were produced.

Twenty Rows Cab has a beautiful deep crimson color with penetrating aromas that begin with black currant, graphite, hints of earth and undertones of espresso. It is bright yet plush, with black cherry, blackberry, currant, licorice, chocolate, and smoke flavors, all neatly layered for complexity. Firm, solid tannins provide good structure, weight and a great mid-palate grip. A long, tantalizing finish rounds out this beautiful wine.
