Vinos Sin-Ley M2 is 100% Monastrell (also known as Mourvedre) from the Alicante region of Spain. Vinos Sin-Ley was created in 2003 by Emili Esteve from Catalonya, and Manuel Martinez from Madrid. In 2005 additional winemakers joined the group, presenting new cuvees that offer novelty and value to the market. Vinos Sin-Ley translates to “Wines Without Law.” The twofold objective of Vinos Sin-Ley is to create “new wines” that are value oriented. The result is fresh fruit-driven flavors that are different from those achieved in the past. Composed of a group of young winemakers from many different regions in Spain, the wines crafted at Vinos Sin-Ley are value-oriented, driven by experimentation and innovative insight.

Vinos Sin-Ley M2 Monastrell was made by winemaker Salvador Poveda. It is deep blue-purple in color with a nose of blackberries, blueberries, red currants, cherries and violets. It is rich and concentrated on the palate with expressive ripe fruit showing supple texture. Aged in stainless steel tanks. On the finish, it is long and complex with polished tannins and lingering flavors of cherries and licorice.
