2006 WesMar Pinot Noir

WesMar Pinot Noir is a wine gem made by a couple with a passion for making great Pinot Noir. WesMar Winery is a result of the combined efforts of Kirk Wesley Hubbard and wife Denise Mary Selyem and of course dog Zoey. They learned about wine making and the wine business from working with Ed Selyem, Denise’s father at Williams & Selyem Winery, for several years in the mid to late 1990’s. In 2000 they left Williams & Selyem Winery and started their own winery, WesMar Winery.

WesMar Pinot Noir Sonoma Coast offers aromas of stone fruits and flavors of red cherries with a background of apricots and some mint highlights. It has a structured core of tannins with a wonderfully brisk acidity. The flavors linger long after the sip is gone. Those who have the patience to lay it down for 5-6 years will be rewarded. This wine will be very popular among Burgundy fans.
