Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois, 375ml
PLEASE CALL OR E-MAIL TO ORDER.
Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois is a wonderful dessert wine from Narbonne, in the south of France. Its official appellation is Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois. How often in the world of wine do you find a true wine gem whose name matches its appellation? We were skeptical until tasting the wine, and then the beauty of the Muscat varietal won us over! This non-vintage bottling comes from Les Vignerons de la Mediterranee. St Jean de Minervois is perched 1000 feet above the plain of Minervois. Robert Parker awarded it 90 points. At this price, let's just keep it our own little secret among friends.
Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois is deep yellow-gold in color with a gorgeous nose of apricot, lychee and floral notes. It is rich and full-bodied on the palate, with a long, seductive finish.
Enjoy Muscat de Saint Jean de Minervois over the next 3-5 years as a dessert in itself or to accompany fresh berries, fruit tarts or dessert cheeses.
