Cora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo DOC is a beautiful red wine gem from Italy's Abruzzo region. Cora is an exciting proprietary label made for one of our favorite importers, David Bowler Wine, with fruit sourced from vineyards in the Abruzzo region of Italy. These are great value wines that are fresh, fun, and uncomplicated, yet satisfy the importer's exacting standards!

Cora Montepulciano d'Abruzzo is soft-pressed, macerated for two weeks, and fermented under cool temperatures (16°- 17°C). The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation and is kept in tank for an additional six months before bottling. This is an excellent value, with notes of bitter cherry and spice on the nose. The wine is medium bodied and juicy, with just enough tannin on the finish to give it structure.
