One of Whiskey Advocate’s Top 20 Whiskies of 2022 with a score of 94, Indri has hit the market with international acclaim, taking Best Indian Single Malt Whisky at the World Whiskies Awards and a Gold Medal from the International Spirits Challenge this year!
Single malt whisky produced by Piccadily Distilleries in Indri, Haryana, India • Produced using indigenous six-row barley • Twice distilled in copper pot stills • Non-age statement; aged in a combination of ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry, French red wine, and first fill bourbon casks • Bottled without additives or coloring • Bursting with aromas of caramelized pineapple, orange cream, and Lapsang souchong black tea over a vinous, sherry-influenced nose; a silken palate highlights guava, coconut custard, toasted cinnamon bark, and ripe peach with almond, allspice, and passion fruit on a long, honeyed finish • Non-chill filtered; 46% ABV
From the most prolific figure in Indian whisky, Surrinder Kumar, comes Indri Single Malt Whisky. Trini, the flagship expression from Indri, means “three” in Sanskrit and derives its name from the three cask types it is matured in—a first for Indian single malt whisky!
