Since 1933, this wine has been produced from the unique Ojaleshi grape cultivated in the Orbeli Village in the mountains of western Georgia. The name of the varietal means "growing on trees" as the vines could be found scaling trees and even houses! Iveria Ojaleshi is a naturally semi-sweet red wine known for its unique ruby color, notes of red berries and fresh fruit. Its atypically firm and balanced tannins provide structure that is very rare in semi-sweet wines. It pairs perfectly with desserts, fresh fruit and spicy dishes.
