Mosole Cabernet Franc is a beautiful red wine gem from northeastern Italy. Tenuta Mosole is situated in the easternmost part of the province of Venice, near the border with Friuli. It is located off the famous wine road, “Strada dei Vini”.
The wine is 100% Cabernet Franc grown in clay soils in the Lison Pramaggiore sub-region. Grapes are harvested at the end of September, with maceration on the skins for an average of 6-8 days with temperature control between 24° and 26° C, followed by 7 months in cement tanks. The wine has a ruby red color with shades of purple. It has an aroma of red berries, cacao, spices and peppers. A medium to full-bodied wine with a velvety texture, soft tannins and a long finish.
