Alta Mora Etna Bianco is a beautiful white wine gem from the indigenous Sicilian grape, 100% Carricante. It has been a lifelong dream for the Cusumano brothers to build a winery among the black, fertile soils of Mt. Etna. The name Alta Mora translates to “High, Black” representing the great heights and dark soils of Mt. Etna. The volcano itself is nearly 11,000 ft high and vineyards are planted up to 4,000 ft high! Alta Mora grapes are 100% estate grown and hand harvested. The Cusumano family treats each wine as an artisanal piece of art and strives for pristine results in every bottle. To do so, they consult with renowned oenologist Mario Ronco, who is equally ambitious about innovation and meticulous about winemaking techniques. Certified Sustainable (Sostain e Viva)

“The Alta Mora 2023 Etna Bianco is 100% Carricante that is aged in stainless steel on the fine lees for 10 months. The fruit used here represents an informal blend from the Contrade Arrigo, Verzelle and Piano dei Daini. This wine shows a golden straw color with medium texture and a little extra heft from a hot vintage that you feel over the palate. It offers waxy aromas of sweet peach and poached pear.
