Antigal Uno Red Blend 2016 is a unique, complex, and exotic blend of 3 grape varieties from the Uco Valley—Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. Bodega Antigal was established on the site of a historic winery in Russell, Maipú, Mendoza, Argentina, whose origin dates back to 1897.
Antigal Uno Red Blend is deep ruby red in color with full body and soft tannins. 60% of the wine is aged for 8-10 months in oak, 60% French and 40% American; the rest of the wine is kept without wood to achieve a desired balance of wood and fruit.
“Ruby red and violet color of medium intensity. The nose is very fresh, fruity and refreshing, notes of red and black fruits, plum, mint, camphor, wild notes, white pepper, graphite, vanilla. Soft and round tannins, silky, velvety, elegant wood, sucrose, with very good balance.”
