Sonoma County, California Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon is a legendary red wine gem from Sonoma. The Sonoma Estates Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of fruit from vineyard sites in the Sonoma Valley, Knights Valley and Alexander Valley AVAs. The Knights Valley fruit lends the wine structure and power. Sonoma Valley fruit offers ripe red fruit flavors and plush texture, while Alexander Valley provides blue fruit and black tea. Arrowood Cabernet Sauvignon is 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 1% Cabernet Franc crafted by winemaker Kristina Shideler. It offers layered aromas of black cherry and blackberry compote, followed by decadent undertones of caramel and chai tea. It is bright and juicy on the palate, complemented with a plush and velvety texture. This well-balanced and elegant Cabernet is very versatile and can be paired with anything from casual pub fare to a classic ribeye. Aged for 18 months in oak barrels (30% new, primarily French).
