Barc & Vallee Chinon Les Reliefs is a beautiful red wine gem of 100% Cabernet Franc from the Chinon appellation of the Loire. The vineyard lies on the banks of the Vienne River on clay-based soil. Average age of the vines is 35 years. Vinification is in stainless steel tanks with aging in tank for a minimum of 12 months before bottling.

Barc & Vallee Chinon Les Reliefs is brilliant red with hints of violet and nicely balanced acidity. Medium in body, it is bright, fresh and aromatic, with lovely red fruit and soft tannins. Flavors of raspberry, cherry, tomato and red pepper. It is clean and refreshing with good length on the finish.
