Bleecker Chardonnay was a simple accident turned into a winning wine gem! You know the expression, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade?" Well that's pretty much the story of Bleecker Chardonnay. At one of our distributor's California wineries, some 2009 Chardonnay was inadvertently blended into a tank with some 2010 juice. Because blended wines under 85% of one vintage are not entitled to vintage status, they decided to de-classify this tank and produce a delicious, clean, everyday Chardonnay under a new label at an even more delicious price. They've been making Bleecker Chardonnay ever since, now joined by Bleecker Cabernet Sauvignon! Bleecker Cabernet Sauvignon is 100% Cabernet Sauvignon picked from vineyards in several viticultural areas of California. Together, these appellations create a balanced, structured wine with beautiful aromatics. On the nose it offers vanilla aromas and red fruit notes of plum, strawberry and cherry.
