Bleecker Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from vineyards located in Lodi that are sustainably farmed and planted in alluvial soils along the river. These dense soils offer excellent water retention which promotes green growth to bring fruit to optimal ripeness. The grapes were de-stemmed then transferred by gravity to steel tank for a cold soak. Fermented using native yeasts, then remained on the skins to macerate for 21 days before pressing. Aged for 18 months in barrel with a small percentage being new.
Bleecker Cabernet Sauvignon is deep purple in color and aromatically expressive with ripe, black plum, currant and mineral notes. The structure is firm with soft, elegant tannins and mouth-watering acidity. Long and pleasing on the finish.
