Bleecker Chardonnay 2019

California Bleecker Chardonnay, after 6 years as a non-vintage hit, graduated to vintage status with the 2015 vintage. Now we move on to the 2019! Bleecker California Chardonnay is a simple accident turned into a winning wine gem! You know the expression, "When life gives you lemons, make lemonade?" Well that's pretty much the story of Bleecker Chardonnay. At one of our distributor's California wineries, some 2009 Chardonnay was inadvertently blended into a tank with some 2010 juice. Because blended wines under 85% of one vintage are not entitled to vintage status, they decided to de-classify this tank and produce a delicious, clean, everyday Chardonnay at an even more delicious price! The wine is 100% tank fermented and offers up notes of tropical fruit and hints of apples. They've been making Bleecker Chardonnay ever since!
