Col di Rocca Prosecco Superiore Rosé Extra Dry 2020 is a delightful sparkling wine from this famous appellation in the Veneto of northeast Italy. This is the first vintage officially allowing a sparkling rosé from the famous Prosecco DOC! In 2005, Adriano and Emanuela Gurian took over some fertile land in the undulating landscape of the Prosecco DOCG Conegliano-Valdobiaddene area. Their Riva di Rocca family farm estate, just 11 hectares is size, peeks out from a vibrant valley of leafy green. Complex wine and a dedication to quality and terroir make their boutique winery Veneto's best kept secret. The presence of the Glera grape here dates back to the times of the Roman Empire. It is with grapes sourced only in these vineyards that this Prosecco is made. Col di Rocca Prosecco Superiore Rosé made of 85% Glera and 15% Pinot Noir. It is pale pink in color with enticing aromas of apple, ripe pear, nectarine, strawberry, almond, white blossoms, and mineral notes. Crisp and bright with medium body and a silky texture, this bubbly offers bright flavors of pears, nectarines, strawberry, rose petals, and almonds.
