VARIETAL 100% Pinot Grigio VINEYARDS Specific vineyard sites in the Chieti Province of Abruzzo Soil Composition: Clay and Limestone Training Method: Cordon Spur System Altitude: 1,000-1,500 feet above sea level Vines/acre: 2,600/3,200 Yield/acre: 8-10 tons Exposure: South-West Age of Vines: 10-15 years Harvest: Hand-selected grapes from the first half of September VINIFICATION The hand-selected and destemmed grapes undergo a cold fermentation period to gently extract color, aromas and an elegant mouth feel. The wine is transferred to large temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and aged 6 months prior to bottling.
