Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon DuSoil is a collaborative effort with French viticulturist/winemaker Bruno Corneaux and vineyard owner Arthur Kalita to highlight the terroir qualities of a unique LIVE-certified sustainable vineyard in the Willamette Valley. Dusoil Pinot Noir Hirscy Vineyard is an exceptional Pinot Noir from a single vineyard in Willamette Valley's Yamhill-Carlton district. Winemaker Bruno Corneaux creates a beautiful, new world-styled Pinot vintage after vintage from this underrated site. Spread across two adjacent properties whose agricultural history goes back 150 years , the Hirschy Vineyard is composed of former walnut and prune orchards. True to the label, this is a great example of earthy Oregon Pinot with notes of dried leaves and forest floor. Medium bodied with only a hint of oak influence and perfectly ripe red fruit.
