EGO Vinum Garnacha 2020

Vino de la Tierra de Castilla, Spain EGO Vinum Garnacha is a beautiful organic Spanish red of 100% Garnacha from La Bodega de las Estrellas. This is a traditional family winery that produces only its own grapes, organic wines, wines made in clay pots without added sulfites; with the goal of naturalness and sustainability. The family of vintners at Bodega de las Estrellas has now reached five generations. EGO Vinum Garnacha is red-purple in color with full body and concentration. It is powerful in aromas of ripe berry fruits of raspberries and blackberries. Smooth and velvety on the palate with a long, pleasing finish. It is a natural wine, certified organic, with no sulfites added. The vines are grown following the principles of organic agriculture as well as the lunar calendar. The grapes are hand harvested and spontaneously fermented with indigenous yeasts in clay amphora with gentle battonage. The wine then spends ample time in smaller, subterranean amphorae where it both decants and matures. It is very lightly filtered before bottling.
