Feudo Luparello Nero d’Avola Syrah Sicilia DOP is a beautiful red blend of 70% Nero d’Avola and 30% Syrah from Sicily. For over 50 years the Bartolomei family has been synonymous with excellence in the Italian wine sector. Located in the most southern part of Sicily, the Feudo Luparello vineyards are east-oriented and grow on a unique soil. Tradition and folklore blend with aromas from the Mediterranean vegetation to produce prestigious wines from indigenous varietals Nero d’Avola and Grillo and international grapes including Cabernet, Syrah, Viognier and Moscato. Feudo Luparello Nero d’Avola Syrah is cherry red with light violet hints. It’s medium-full in body with a nose of red fruits, cherry, and black currant with nice floral notes. The blending of two iconic grapes--Nero D’Avola and Syrah--releases a wine rich in elegance and finesse.
