La Bollina Moscato Canelli is a beautiful expression of the Moscato grape from the famous Nizza zone of Asti. Tenuta La Bollina is located in the territory originally assigned to the production of Gavi DOCG. The estate, which for centuries has been the residency of the Marchioness Figari of Genova, is surrounded by a magnificent landscape of hills, selected vineyards and chestnut woods. The winery has 25 hectares of property and a well-equipped cellar.
La Bollina Moscato Canelli is golden straw yellow in color. This sweet white wine is lightly sparkling and characterized by floral and fruity nuances: peach, sage, and citrus. It is an artisanal wine made from an ancient variety named "white muscat of Canelli," which has been used to make wine ever since the Roman age. What separates this wine from the typical commercial Moscato d’Asti is the finish, which is soft and light and lingers from the balance with the wine’s acidity.
La Bollina Moscato Canelli is ideal with dry pastries, fresh fruit tarts, but also pairs well with fresh cured meats and fermented cheeses.
