Thanks in large part to the extraordinary work of Aurélien Laherte and his family since 1889, heads are turning toward the village of Chavot in the Côteaux Sud d'Epernay, a sub-region sandwiched between the Côtes des Blancs and the Vallée de la Marne. As a meticulous vinifier and a devoted practitioner of organic and biodynamic viticulture, Aurélien strives to produce a lineup of blended and single-vineyard Champagnes that deeply expresses the identities of his unique terroirs. Aurelien Laherte's first Blanc de Noirs Champagne made from 100% Pinot Noir! "Les Longues Voyes" translates to "The Long Way", which refers not only to the 30km distance of the vines from the Laherte estate, but also the 19 months of barrel ageing. With a richness and complexity that we have come to expect from Laherte Freres, The Long Way is worth the wait!

Silky and aromatic, with lovely mid-weight presence, the Longues Voyes is all class. Sweet red cherry, red plum, dried flowers and chamomile all grace this exquisite, beautifully polished Blanc de Noirs. The 2017 is a real success, especially for the vintage.
