Le Filigare Chianti Classico Riserva Maria Vittoria is a beautiful red wine of Sangiovese, Colorino, and Canaiolo from this famous appellation of Tuscany. Nestled in the Chianti Classico hills, halfway between Siena and Florence, the Le Filigare estate takes its name from the hill on which it stands. Here, among vineyards and olive groves, history and nature intertwine in a unique landscape.

The property includes two historic hamlets: Le Filigare, in the municipality of Barberino Tavarnelle, and Le Macine, in the municipality of Castellina in Chianti. Le Filigare, founded in the 11th century and once called Fiaccole di Sopra, still retains the charm of ancient traditions, when torches illuminated the village during the celebrations of its patron saint. Since 2016, Le Filigare has undertaken an organic production process, focusing on sustainability and environmental protection, to offer wines that embody the authentic essence of the territory.

Le Filigare Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG Maria Vittoria has a deep ruby red color with garnet highlights. The bouquet is fine and intense, offering aromas of red berries with balsamic notes. This fruitiness is beautifully accompanied by floral notes of violets. In the background, there is a warm spicy nuance, where all the aromas come together, resulting in a fascinating and complex nose. The wine is delicate, elegant, complex, with rich, dense tannins in the mouth, lively acidity, good length and an accompanying saline finish. Aged for 24 months in large oak barrels. Certified organic.
