IGP Collines Rhodaniennes, Rhone, France
Madivin Mélusine Marsanne is a beautiful white wine from the northern Rhone. It was created in collaboration with Mélusine, winemaker in Chateauneuf-sur-Isère, from an estate of 18 hectares on the left bank of the Rhone. The blend is 98% Marsanne and 2% Roussanne from 30-year-old vines planted on the scree of the Vercors. Organic farming and hand-harvesting.
Madivin Mélusine Marsanne is medium in body with moderate acidity and a light golden color. It offers aromas of honeysuckle, almond, honey, and vanilla. On the palate this wine has a full texture and a slight minerality. Citrus and white flower flavors blend nicely, leading to a long finish with a hint of lemon zest.
Enjoy Madivin Mélusine Marsanne with veal, grilled chicken, swordfish, lobster, grilled vegetables, and creamy pastas.
