Orneta Irpinia Aglianico Centovie is a rich red wine from Campania, in the southwest of Italy, the region of Naples. With 20 hectares of vineyards, Orneta is immersed in the heart of the DOCG and DOC denominations of Campania, in the most suitable districts of lrpinia (Candida, Fontanarosa, Montefalcione, Paternopoli) between 500-600 meters above sea level. Orneta owns 20 hectares of vineyards in the most desirable areas of Irpinia, with five different types of grapes grown. These include Taurasi Docg, Greco di Tufo Docg, Fiano di Avellino Docg, Irpinia Aglianico Docg, and Campania Falanghina Igt.

Orneta Irpinia Aglianico Centovie is 100% Aglianico from about 13 hectares of vineyards located in the countryside of Fontanarosa, Montefalcione at Fortuna, and Paternopoli at Nocelleto. The Mesozoic soil integrated with the volcanic contributions of Vesuvius, due to its permeability and its richness in potassium, produces grapes full of polyphenols and acids that give complexity and longevity to the wine. The wine is intense ruby red in color with full body and silky tannins. It shows a complex bouquet of violets, currants, and wild blackberries. The wine was aged in steel tanks and French oak barrels for 3 months. Elegant tannins are blended with a balanced acidity and full body, offering a long, pleasing finish.

Orneta Irpinia Aglianico Centovie will drink well now and over the next 6-8 years. Ideal with grilled steaks and red meats, rich pasta dishes, truffles, and aged cheeses.
