Paul Mas Reserve Malbec is a beautiful single-vineyard organic and biodynamic red wine of 100% Malbec from the Gardemiel Vineyard in Languedoc. This is located just 200km from Cahors, the historic birthplace of the Malbec grape varietal. The legend of Vinus the Heron started on the Hérault River banks at the foot of Château Paul Mas in Pézenas. Château Paul Mas is made of 2 Estates: the Castle and a 25 ha vineyard in Conas near Pézenas the cellar and an 80 ha vineyard in Nicole, near Montagnac. The labels feature Vinus the heron in front of the Conas castle. Paul Mas was awarded European Winery of the Year by Wine Enthusiast Wine Star Awards!
Paul Mas Reserve Malbec is medium in body with a deep purple color. It offers powerful and complex aromas of ripe plum, blackcurrant and mocha combined with spicy notes. This Malbec reveals ripe tannins supported by a good fruit concentration and layers of sweet spices and vanilla.
Enjoy Paul Mas Reserve Malbec with veal chops, roast duck, creamy pastas and aged cheeses.
