Pradorey Viognier La Trucha Arcoiris is a delicious white wine gem of 100% Viognier from the Ribera del Duero region of Spain (though its official appellation is simply Spain.) Pradorey owns the largest vineyard area in the Ribero del Duero wine region with 550 hectares of vineyards. The winery was built in harmony with its natural surroundings. It is embedded in a hillside, partially underground, following the centuries-old tradition of the surrounding towns, to maintain constant conditions of temperature and humidity for ageing wines.
La Trucha Arcoiris (Rainbow Trout) Viognier is an expressive single-vineyard Viognier with aromas of tropical fruit and citrus, a silky, well-structured palate with vibrant acidity, subtle oak influence, and a refined, slightly bitter finish with lingering complexity. Fermentation was in concrete tanks followed by 7 months’ aging in new French (75%) and American (25%) oak barrels. Vegan-friendly.
