Praidis Vermentino di Sardegna is a beautiful white wine of 100% Vermentino from Sardinia. Founded in 1959, Cantina Castiadas Societa Cooperativa Agricola produces wines from grapes grown in the southeastern part of Sardinia known as Sarrabus. Praidis was the ancient name of the area that is now the present town of Castiadas. Praidis Vermentino di Sardegna is an Uncertified Organic Wine (producer states they do not use artificial fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides.)
Praidis Vermentino is straw-yellow in color with a hint of honeysuckle on the palate. This light and lively white wine is perfect with seafood dishes, grilled chicken, and Mediterranean fare, or sipped on its own.
