Douro, Portugal Quinta do Judeu Corgo da Regua is a beautiful red blend from the Douro region of Portugal. Quinta do Judeu has been making traditional Douro wines since the property was acquired in 1932 by the Alves de Carvalho family. Quinta do Judeu owns 3 estates in the Douro Valley with a total of 27 hectares of vineyards, only with native Douro grape varieties. The winemaker is Emidio Bacelar. This vintage of Quinta do Judeu Corgo da Regua is a blend of Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca, foot-trodden in granite lagares. The wine is showing attractive aromas of plums, cherries and black currants. The palate is smooth, elegant and supple, with great balance and a firm supportive tannic structure. Drinking well now and over the next 3-5 years. Quinta do Judeu Corgo da Regua is ideal with roast pork, beef stew, grilled vegetables, and aged cheeses.
