Rezzadore Monte Consiglio Prosecco Rosé Brut 2022 is a delightful sparkling wine from this famous appellation in the Veneto of northeast Italy. 2020 was the first vintage officially allowing a sparkling rosé from the famous Prosecco DOC! Azienda Agricola Rezzadore lies about an hour west of Venice, in the Berici Hills of central Veneto. Giuseppe Rezzadore is the steward of the epic terroir that’s been in his family for 6 generations: an ancient seabed of compacted fossils, shells, sand and mud. The high-draining soil plus a sunny climate make for ripe, mineral, complex wines. Farming with respect for nature is critical for Giuseppe, and he proudly took on the time-consuming and expensive process to obtain official certification. This wine is certified organic.

90% Glera, 10% Pinot Noir. Five to six days skin contact in stainless steel at 22° c, followed by first fermentation. The Glera and Pinot Noir are fermented separately. Secondary fermentation by Charmat method followed by three months aging in tank. It is pale pink in color with enticing aromas of apple, ripe pear, nectarine, strawberry, almond, white blossoms, and mineral notes. Crisp and bright with medium body and a silky texture, this bubbly offers bright flavors of pears, nectarines, strawberry, rose petals, and almonds. It is nicely balanced with a long, satisfying finish.
