Roche-Audran Cotes du Rhone Papillon is a beautiful red wine gem of 60% Grenache and 40% Syrah, with no sulfites added. Domaine Roche-Audran is a biodynamic winery situated in a natural wooded preserve at the foot of the Buisson vineyard. Winemaker Vincent Rochette created the domaine in 1998, however his family has been working the land for 5 generations. The winery has been biodynamic since 2006. Demeter certified biodynamic. Certified organic by Ecocert France.

Roche-Audran Cotes du Rhone Papillon is vibrant black cherry in color. On the nose, red and black berries (blackcurrant) with hints of violet. Full, silky, earthy and fresh on the palate, offering blackcurrant and a touch of raspberry and white pepper, with a surprisingly long finish bursting with delicious black fruits. This is a classy and elegant Cotes du Rhone that is a welcome departure from the mass-produced wines too often found in this area. This red can be consumed young or enjoyed over the next 4-5 years.
