New York
Rosina’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a rich dry red wine from New York’s Hudson River Region. Michele Callisto had a vision of creating a vineyard that was rooted in family tradition and innovative viticulture practices. From these values, Rosina’s Winery was born, named after his mother and daughter. The vineyard is located on 56 acres in the Hudson River Valley region, in Middletown, NY. The orientation and terroir provide stability for the roots and protection from frost and disease. The silt loam helps to fertilize the land with nutrients that encourage growth. It’s the perfect combination of sand, silt and clay. This mixture allows water and nutrients to penetrate the soil and provides adequate drainage with minimal intervention for a strong healthy root system.
Rosina’s Cabernet Sauvignon is a beautiful high-toned red that tastes of rich raspberry, cassis, and a hint of dried prune accompanied by a touch of cacao. This is a wine that will age nicely.
Enjoy Rosina’s Cabernet Sauvignon with steak, roast pork, lasagna, and aged cheeses.
