Description

Yamhill-Carlton, Oregon Jeb Dunnuck 90 points! Wine Spectator 90 points! Siduri Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton is a beautiful Pinot from the Yamhill-Carlton region of Oregon. For nearly 20 years, Adam and Dianna Lee, owners and winemakers of Siduri Wines, have been sourcing fruit from some of the most influential and well-known Pinot Noir vineyards in the country. Today, Siduri produces single vineyard Pinot Noir from 27 different vineyards stretching from Santa Barbara north to Oregon’s Willamette Valley. They have been fortunate enough to establish relationships with top tier growers/vineyards including: Pisoni, Van der Kamp, Clos Pepe and Page- Nord. All of Siduri's Pinot Noir is produced unfiltered and unfined in an effort to maximize the expression of these very diverse sites. Siduri is unique in the breadth and depth of their single varietal focus. Both native Texans, Adam and Dianna Lee fell in love with Pinot Noir in 1994 and have continued to evolve as winemakers, creating wines which reflect their growth and passion. "Siduri" is named for the Babylonian Goddess of wine, who, in Babylonian mythology, held the wine of eternal life. “To taste Siduri is to taste some of the best Pinot Noir made in America today.” - Matt Kramer, Wine Spectator columnist & author of New California Wine. “Coming from two sites in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA, which is a small AVA in the northern portion of the Willamette Valley, and fermented with 38% stems, the 2017 Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton has a terrific bouquet of smoked black cherries, earth, and some spice. It's medium-bodied, rounded, nicely textured, beautifully balanced, and well made.”—Jeb Dunnuck, 90 points! “Fresh and vibrant, with lively cherry, mineral and spice flavors that finish on a snappy note.”—Wine Spectator, 90 points! Enjoy Siduri Pinot Noir Yamhill-Carlton with salmon, pan roasted pork loin, mushroom dishes, and lighter cuts of beef off the grill.
