Thor Vintners Lara is a beautiful white wine gem of 100% Semillon from the Franschhoek wine region of South Africa. “Thor Vintners’ 3rd range, called The Megan Mari & Lara, are two wines dedicated to our two daughters. The fruit comes from Glenwood in Franschhoek, a farm known for serious Semillon. We kept it raw and real, whole bunch pressed, left long (8 months) on fine lees, and unbothered by shortcuts.

No tired oak barrels here, this batch matured in 1000L barrel tanks with a custom blend of ceramic and fire-toasted French oak for precision and purity.

Lara is layered with ripe apricot, orange peel, honeycomb, and a touch of vanilla pod, finishing with sweet honeysuckle and grip. A white that carries weight without losing clarity.
