Wölffer Estate was founded in 1988 by Christian Wölffer, a man with great creative vision and a huge passion for life. The estate today is owned and operated by his children, Marc and Joey Wölffer and Winemaker/Partner Roman Roth. The estate spans approximately 470 acres including the acclaimed 55 acre sustainably farmed estate vineyard located in Sagaponack, NY, 52 acres on the North Fork of Long Island, 200 acres in Mendoza, Argentina, 2.5 acres in Mallorca, Spain and 160 acres managed in collaboration with North Fork growers.

To bring a European sophistication to Wölffer's signature Hamptons rosé style, co-owners Marc & Joey Wölffer traveled to France's famous Côtes de Provence. The vineyard is sustainably farmed, notably belonging to Terra Vitis, under the direction of Wölffer Estate's partner and winemaker Roman Roth. With extensive blending trials, Summer in a Bottle Provence marries the Provençal delicate complexity with Wölffer's casual yet elegant American summer style. Wölffer continues to go the extra mile to become one of the world's leading fine rosé producers.

Summer in a Bottle Provence Rosé is a blend of 59% Grenache, 18% Cinsault, 12% Syrah, 11% Vermentino (Rolle). Perfect pale, light rose in color. Beautiful floral and crushed stone aromas and fine peach and melon notes fill the glass. The mouth-feel is delicate and playful with fantastic ripe fresh fruit and classic minerality. There is an overall sophistication and calmness from the creamy yeast characters but also a lively and food friendly acidity. The 4 grape varieties have come seamlessly together into a wonderful rosé blend that is lingering very nicely on a long finish. This is one of the most balanced rosés that is very versatile and can accompany an array of food.

Serve chilled. It is the perfect partner to complement seafood, chicken, turkey, veal, pork and even spicy dishes. Charcuterie, cheese and most classically of course, a bouillabaisse. Or enjoy sipping it at a party with friends or treating yourself.
